ITV have been trailing Demons for some time now, so I expected we’d be in for something of a treat. Afterall why would you trail a show you knew to be a lame duck? 

Twenty minutes into Demons and it’s flaws were sticking out like a sore thumb. Glennister’s perplexingly bad US Accent is a show stealer (or should that be killer) it’s a mystery how it got onto the screen – surely someone could have spoken to him about it? The CGI is not in itself bad, more it’s the way it’s handled… no suspense, no shadows… this isn’t Alien… nothing left to the imagination! The story in itself is not bad… but it all feels a bit old and if you have ever seen Buffy then you have seen this, so what’s the point?

I suspect this may be a hit with younger audiences but it will soon lose the interest of their parents…
